In our office, we provide oral cancer screening during every regular cleaning and routine check up. The soft tissues in your mouth will be examined for any oral cancer and precancerous conditions. Any suspicious conditions will be reevaluated. A biospy might be needed for the final diagnosis.

 

Like many other cancers, oral cancer can be life threatening if not diagnosed and treated earlier. In fact, oral cancer has a 50% survival 5-year survival rate. Early treatment and intervention can greatly increase the success rate of the treatment.
