Minimally Invasive Dentistry
Reduced Pain and Increased Precision
What is Laser Dentistry?
The laser machine we use is the Fotona LightWalker. It has two complementary laser wavelengths (Er: YAG and Nd:YAG) in a single system. Combining both wavelengths in a single treatment makes the best use of the unique laser- tissue interaction characteristics of each laser wavelength, and can dramatically improve the outcome of laser-assisted treatments to achieve superior clinical results.
Laser dentistry uses Er:YAG technology for precise and gentle dental procedures (cavity removal, root canal treatment, periodontal surgery) without heating the surrounding structure. It reduces the need for anesthesia and allows for a much more comfortable patient experience. It also involves use of Nd:YAG which allows for laser biostimulation which will aid in reduction of swelling, reduction of bleeding, and pain relief.

More information about the Fotona Lightwalker can be found on the Fotona website.
Reduces need for injections, drilling, scalpels, stitches
Minimizes trauma, pain, and bleeding
Preserves natural teeth and healthy tissue
Increases accuracy and precision
Eliminates unpleasant vibrations and noises
Faster Treatment and Recovery Time
Additional Laser Functions
We use low-level red-to-near-infrared Nd:YAG light energy to naturally stimulate cell healing, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain:
-
Jaw, facial muscle, and
neurological pain -
Canker sore and cold sores.
-
Post-surgery pain
The process accelerates tissue regeneration, cell metabolism, lymphatic flow and circulation.
Our NightLase™ technology treats sleep apnea and decreases snoring without the need for an appliance or further surgery.
The laser induces regeneration and gentle contraction of collagen in the oral mucosa tissue. It strengthens tissue, resulting in a tightening effect that increases the size of the airway and decreases effects of snoring and sleep apnea.
Facial Aesthetics
We provide a chemical-free and injection-free natural way to reduce facial lines and wrinkles and increase lip fullness
Er:YAG laser wavelength causes extremely precise, micron layer-by-layer ablation of the epidermis, stimulating the production of new collagen in the dermis
