Bridges are commonly used to cover a space if you’re missing one or more teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns: one on each tooth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between. It is cemented to natural teeth or implants surrounding the space and can not be removed by the patient. A bridge can not only enhance your smile and chewing function, but may also prevent tooth decay, shifting, and gum disease caused by missing teeth.
